Woodcote
Badminton Club is a well established and friendly club with
approximately 30 members. We've played at Aberdour
School for many years now and enjoy four courts in a purpose
built sports hall with a rather cavernous ceiling
height!
We play
every Tuesday evening from 7.30pm until 10.30pm, use a
peg board system for choosing the next game, and play using
RSL and Yonex feathered shuttles.
We like to offer a
mixture of ladies, mens, and mixed games on a club
night, as well as the opportunity for everyone to play
league badminton if they wish to. We currently have
both men's and mixed teams playing in the local league,
so fingers crossed for more victories!
The club also organises
social events for members, we've been bowling, enjoyed many
meals out, and of course we celebrate the festive season
with the annual Woodcote Badminton Club Christmas
Party!
